Jamie Welch I love this, I had to buy the Vinyl. Mad support to all the boys in my favorite band Tribulation. All of them are so incredibly talented, I will support any project they do. Props to Jakob for his vocals, guitar and drumming skills!!

paul rote Swedesh retro rocker. Not real heavy but this is good. Witchfynde comes to mind from the seventies. Favorite track: Riden Av En Mara.

fernandobenitez First of all, you can pay a buck for an album that could very well be an instant classic. Second, i love when bands don't have to rely on English to get their feelings across. Third, this is truly old school, sounding like a lost swedish gem from 71 or 72, kinda like a less sabbathy witchcraft mixed with prog ideas and hawkwind's drive. Plus, the drumming's great, it totally swings- funny, considering the guy's main gig is with a death metal band. So good i had to get it on vinyl! Favorite track: Riden Av En Mara.

about

Debut LP from the Folk Space Rock child of Jakob Ljungberg, drummer for Death Metal band Tribulation. The album, 'Hopp/Förtvivlan,' features roughly half an hour of the finest Hard Rock psychedelia, with influences ranging from Steeleye Span and Nektar to Jethro Tull and Hawkwind with words sung entirely in his native Swedish. For fans of Wolf People, Graveyard and Danava.
