In the shadow of death we lurk

Rotting underneath weathered tombstones
With ancient mosses overgrown
The skulls are possessed an in chorus
Start to let forth cries from the abyss

Skeletal laughter froze my veins
Mocking humans from beyond pleasure and pain
Resounding louder, no sound so insane
It comes from the graves, skeletal laughter

Otherworldly voices surround me
And permeate the night with glee
To erase my mortal strife,
I join them in glib delight
A carcass trembling in the pale moonlight

Skeletal laughter froze my veins,
Emanating from beyond this earthly plane
Is it delusion born of my fevered brain?
I'll dig up the graves — skeletal laughter
